Elevate Your Winesday

Personally, I find my Winesday posts to be one of, it not my most favorite topic to write about for this blog. No, I don't only think about wine (Kathie Lee and Hoda!), It's simply fun sharing my Winesday Food and Booze Finding because mid week is a great day to experience new eat and drink spots. Let's "fly" through the introduction nonsense and get to the good stuff.

Elevation ChopHouse and SkyBar is located in Kennesaw, Ga, and is a wonderful restaurant and bar that sits on the McCullom airport overlooking the runway! I had the pleasure of my first visit there last week, and let me tell you, I will be back before you can say "take off!".

Elevation Chophouse

Generally, all you would have to mention in order to get me to go to lunch or dinner somewhere is usually "chop house" or "sky bar", but let me throw you folks an extra big bone - all of their wine is HALF off today! Not only that, but if you look at their menu, their bottles run at decent prices and from first hand experience, are quite tasty!

Aside from a great deal, this place has an amazing seared tuna salad, excellent sandwiches and appetizers, and really great daily booze deals. If you're more of the cocktail/beer person, Elevation serves up one of the meanest dirty martini's (with stuffed bleu cheese olives) in town, offers half off draft beer on Mondays, and will surely be hoppin' for tomorrow's St. Patty's Day celebration.

Elevation is a real find in a town surrounded by stale chain restaurants. The chops are delicious, the atmosphere is a mixture of exciting and relaxing, and the deals are worth a visit alone. Not in the mood for lunch or dinner? Try their new "Blues Brunch Sunday", with eggs de jour and a build-your-own bloody Mary Bar, what could be better?
