Nik's Place, Marietta Ga. |
This American-Greek inspired restaurant has been a mainstay for Mariettan's for years now, and it's not just the food that keeps this place bumpin'. Located off Whitlock Avenue in the heart of Marietta, and about a mile from the Square, Nik's is known for gyros, beer, music, unexplained dancing, and most importantly... hummus!
With a perfect summer time back porch and unique interior ambiance, Nik's offers a variety of social and foodie options to sort through. Should you venture to Nik's and not experience the world famous Nik's sauce, I would suggest not going at all. (See picture above).
Having only tried a handful of menu items over the years, I've never felt the need to stretch my palate beyond the tastes of their traditional gyros, kinky chicken or chicken gyros, Greek salads, and my most favorite - Nik's potatoes! While they offer a full menu of American and Greek inspired foods, my suggestion would be to go Greek, because once you do you won't be sorry!
Saturday night first: Myself with friends Anna and Katie enjoying our tropical "Rum Punches" at Nik's!
