Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Lindsay Barbour and I am this close to being finished with my undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. I was born and raised in Marietta, GA., and have a love for fun, food, adventure, and time well spent.

I am now a full time employee in the Office of Alumni Affairs at KSU (and loving it!) and am realizing the value of great food and friends.


I am lucky enough to have been taught by my grandmothers how to cook like a real southern woman, which ultimately means taking care of people through the joys of good, homemade cooking.

This blog represents my findings in the culinary world that is the Atlanta Food scene. While I may not be a chef or even a real cook, I love eating and meeting people to can appreciate that.
